"A 15-inch MacBook Air goes in and out of a bag multiple times a day. Most backpacks make you do that through a letterbox opening, dragging your laptop past zipper teeth every single time. On a machine with a finish as temperamental as Apple's, that's not a minor inconvenience. It's cumulative damage that shows up in scratches, scuffs, and resale value. The very first "MacPack" I designed in 2000 had a "Tilt-Away" main compartment opening. It was designed to eliminate this problem entirely. When unzipped, the front section and rear panel fold away from each other, creating completely unobstructed access to the laptop compartment. Our 15-inch MacBook backpack retains this innovative feature. Your 15-inch Air goes in and comes out without touching a single zipper tooth. Every time.
