I purchased a Librem 14 version 1 laptop computer with 32GB DDR4 RAM and dual 500GB SSD hard drives on August 20, 2021 for $1,996.00 from this company. Their website said due to supply chain issues that shipping would take around 8 weeks. Read moreI purchased a Librem 14 version 1 laptop computer with 32GB DDR4 RAM and dual 500GB SSD hard drives on August 20, 2021 for $1,996.00 from this company. Their website said due to supply chain issues that shipping would take around 8 weeks. I contacted Mladen Pejakovic who is the Support Manager for Purism on on October 12, 2021 to ask about an ETA for when my laptop would be shipped and I was told they were restocking on October 18 and shipping should resume that week. I next contacted them on November 1 to see if my laptop had shipped at which point they said my laptop was expected to ship out the second week of December, so I told them I wanted a refund. Mladen told me it would take several weeks and I told him they have 7 working days to refund my money per the FTC. Today is the 7th working day from November 1 so they are now not in compliance with FTC rules.

I paid Purism $1996.00 on August 20 and 12 weeks later I haven't received the laptop I paid for. They expect me to wait another 6 weeks before it ships and haven't refunded my money like I asked them to.

**** DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR MONEY!!!! ****

Did you get the laptop/refund eventually?
Was the shipping domestic or international?
Asking as I am looking at the same laptop just a bit more specced up and concerned about the issues that you mentioned.
