This site is definitely a scam. I topped up my credits, but they weren't credited to my account. Plus, I tried contacting the site's mediator/support, but I haven't received any response.

Considering the middleman charged me 20% of my sale, the least they can do is be mindful and produce updates on the transactions. At this point, I had to adjust the transaction to cancel and that will disappoint the buyer because of the middleman not following their own instructions. I will see how long this continues without any responses. This company should do better considering we are trusting them to help with online services. Give me my money or give me my account back. Period. Ridiculous.

I have been a verified vendor (Username: Azorkai) on PlayerUp for years. The platform has withheld my earnings totaling over $3,966.00 USD for verified transactions completed between 2022-2023. Buyers received their goods, PlayerUp collected the money, but they refused to release my funds for over 3 years.
After years of patience, I finally sent a formal Legal Demand Letter and filed a Consumer Protection Complaint with the Washington State Attorney General and DFI this week regarding their violations of RCW 19.86 (Unfair Practices) and RCW 18.44 (Unlicensed Escrow Activity).
THE RESULT?
Instead of resolving the debt, PlayerUp immediately LOCKED/BANNED my account (Azorkai) within hours of receiving the legal notice. They are now attempting to hide the transaction history and evidence by blocking my access.
This is a clear act of retaliation and spoliation of evidence.
WARNING to all users: Do not trust this platform with your money or digital assets. If you ask for your money, they will ban you. I am currently pursuing this via state regulators and legal action.

Since then nothing happened for weeks, despite I reached them using multiple support channels. I urged them multiple times in telegram, which they responded only vaguely. On 16. 9. 2025 they finally processed the payment from middleman to the playerup balance, and initiated cashout to my bank account.
The playerup balance is 0, the cashout is being processed. Since then there is no action, every message I send to them is ignored. They even billed me $20 for that awful service — unbelievable!

Then on 3/29/2023 I submitted my payoneer card info to receive the money. However, due to having a balance block issue, I couldn't receive the payment at that time and I told them to hold it. Then I managed one of my friends' Paypal address and added it as the payment option and asked several times from time to time to send the payment but they didn't answer, and just sent me an automatic message about the bank-to-bank transfer guide on 4/10/2023. They couldn't send it because of their PayPal limit issue and I came to know that later but I asked many times to help to get my payment. Then they sent the same message of bank-to-bank transfer on 10/30/2023 when I was in India for my child's surgery. I noticed this message in January 2024 and I asked them if it was okay to provide an Indian bank account because I live in Bangladesh and it's not available on their list for a bank-to-bank transfer. But there was no reply until 3/30/2024, 4 days after I wrote a review here on Site Jabber. Then I sent them an Indian bank account info for the payment but they told me to close the review that I had written. I removed that instantly believing them (check the images for the previous review screenshot) and sent them the correct bank info. On that review, they said "It's resolved and the payment is already sent" which is 100% not true.
So, after I provided the correct bank info I asked how long it could take to send the payment. The middleman told me on 3/31/24 "your payment is in queue. This will be released early next week" which is already gone but no payment received (The order status is now "Middleman Wallet Balance Cashout - Pending - Expedite from 4/09/2024).
Then I kept asking for my payment as the early next week was over but no answer yet from the middleman. Then I thought about contact in other ways. I messaged them on Telegram on 12 April and someone replied and told me to check the status of my payment ticket. Then, they canceled my cash out and gave the credit to my MM balance on 16 April. Then I cash out that again by providing the correct bank info yet there is no sign of my payment update, 12 days gone. I asked them on telegram support several times, then they showed up on 23 April on telegram and told me to have an update on that day but it has been 7 days over. They will keep telling you the same thing that it'll be updated today, shortly, so soon but their today and shortly wouldn't end ever. It seems like they are playing hide and seek with me which is very nasty to think about as a human.
So, I decided to give up and I did today, I gave up. It was so frustrating, annoying, and unbearable.
I already sold most of my assets for my child's treatment and surgery. I'm kind of a beggar now and still don't have any regular income. Living day by day borrowing money from friends and nearest people. Sometimes, I couldn't buy groceries to feed my family. I told them everything but they didn't care.
Think this, my money has been there for more than a year and now when I have provided the correct info what's wrong with sending the payment, it's not rocket science for sure. It's so sad for me to not have the payment as I'm having a very bad financial crisis now. But I gave up, it's better instead of going through unbearable frustration, pain, waiting, and tension given by them.
It's a horrible experience! I would love to give it less than 0 star rating. You (SiteJabber and other review websites) guys should add 0 stars for the rating too for this kind of service.

Sellers only see their money for amounts less than $10 and even then not always..
All 5 star reviews (not 3 or 4) are fake and written by PlayerUp or a few players who sold game accounts for less than €10.
For higher amounts you will never see your money.

A while ago, I posted my rollercoin for sale on this site using the PlayerUp middleman service. A few months later, I recieved an offer via email, as shown in image 1. So I accepted this offer and received the next two emails as a follow-up (image 2 and image 3). At this point, I wasn't sure what to do next, so the buyer and I began chatting amongst ourselves, as I could not get a response from the middle man no matter what I tried. Eventually, I relinquished my rollercoin account to the buyer, which was confirmed by both the buyer and me, as shown in image 4.At this point, I expected payment, but this did not happen immediately. Both the buyer and I had kicked up a stink, and after requesting that PlayerUp release the funds, after a couple of days, I received the funds into a "middleman wallet," which I immediately withdrew to my bitcoin address. After another month of waiting and kicking up another stink, I received a message from playerup/middleman stating my cashout was cancelled due to high transaction fees, as shown in image 5, so I changed my withdrawal option to litecoin and even added PayPal as an alternative, and withdrew the money from my middleman wallet again, which has been pending since January 17,2024, as shown in image 6. To this date, I have not been paid. I am not sure what the excuse is this time, but I will either get my money or this site must be taken down because scammers should not be allowed to operate with impunity like this.

Immediately after posting this review I got a response from playerup shown in image7-image10 (threats of warnings and suspensions like it will make a difference as far as im concerned my money was gone the moment I decided to do business here)

They have become so proficient in their deception that they actually believe they aren't simply a group of swindlers! I have had a payment pending since April 2022, and after a plethora of communications and messages, I have officially given up on the $450 owed to me. They do not respond to messages, tickets, emails or anything, and are quite adept at swiftly cancelling year-long pending payment orders as soon as you leave a negative review of them. They instruct you to remove your review in exchange for payment, but trust me when I say that payment will never come. I have removed my reviews three times since last year, each time with a promise of payment, but have yet to receive anything. Please refrain from supporting such dishonest individuals who exhibit zero customer care or ethical behavior.

On May 29th, 2023, they responded stating that the issue was partially resolved and they were actively working towards fixing it. However, as of today, September 15th, 2023, I have yet to receive any response or payment. I have consistently encountered problems when attempting to cash out, with the process often taking several months, which is highly unacceptable. Despite their claims of resolving the issue and fulfilling their payment obligations, I have not received any money even after a period of 18 months. This situation is far beyond being due; it appears to be nothing short of a scam."

On November 1st, I reached out to them once more via Telegram regarding the status of my payment. In response, they requested that I remove my reviews before they would proceed with the payment. Without hesitation, I deleted my reviews on the same date. However, it has now been 16 days, and I am still awaiting their response. Unfortunately, my messages continue to go unanswered, leaving me in a state of complete disregard.

Many months ago I finalized a transaction of a game account. At the beginning everything was good, the middleman seemed to be... well... responsive enough, but once the payment from the buyer towards PlayerUp was made it was impossible to reach the Middleman.
So as you can imagine the buyer payed to PlayerUp the money, I have given the account to the buyer and he was kind enough to hand over his bank statement showing that he did payed.
I tried every peaceful method to reach them (email, telegram, opening tickets, responding multiple times to my cashout ticket), but none of them seemed to get the attention of my Middleman or PlayerUp staff. I received only one response at some point on telegram and they were saying that they will start processing the payments once the page is up. Indeed, at that point the page was having issues, but right now everything seems to work normal. Of course, I asked again on telegram about the payment process and as you can guess, they did not answer.
Their behavior is like someone who is experienced in scamming and takes advantage of peoples' trust.
I have attached screens in order to see for yourselves and I suggest to look for other methods of selling/buying digital goods because it is clear that these guys are not to be trusted.

Buyers and sellers! Be careful! Playerup.com is a scam! I've been begging for my $900 payout on PlayerUp.com since April 20th. I wrote to the middleman (Middlescam) on discord and telegram every day.. They just ignore me or promise to pay me today / tomorrow and ignore me again. He also constantly asks to delete the review and supposedly then he will be able to continue working on the payment. I attach screenshots of our correspondence in telegram and discord
Now this scammer asks to send him a PayPal invoice and simply ignores the invoice.

They have been doing this for awhile now not paying their sellers. I have had an expedite cashout transaction for 2 months now with zero progress. They just started to ghost me and many others. There is no hope and i urge everyone in the same situation to spread awareness about this website in other review sites. Dont forget to report to the FTC (https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/). If youre a seller and havent gotten your money please do contact your buyer to report to their bank. SPREAD AWARENESS EVERYWHERE. DONT STAY QUIET.

I recently had a truly frustrating experience with PlayerUp.com, and I feel compelled to share my negative review to warn others about their unreliable services.
As a seller on PlayerUp, I expected a seamless transaction process and timely payments. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
First and foremost, PlayerUp failed to pay me for my sales for over two months, despite repeated attempts to contact their middleman support team. This level of negligence is simply unacceptable.
It's disheartening to put in the effort to provide quality services or products to buyers, only to be met with complete lies and non-payment.
The lack of communication from PlayerUp was particularly infuriating. Their middleman support team appears to be non-existent or unhelpful, as I sent numerous emails and messages through their platform and telegram, but received no response whatsoever, after they know about honest review about their website has been posted they immediately responded with threats to banned my account and they immediately did. It's as if they have no regard for the concerns and issues faced by their sellers.
I believe that the issues I encountered with PlayerUp raise serious concerns about its practices. It's important for potential users to be aware of these issues and exercise caution when considering this platform for their transactions. I strongly urge PlayerUp to address these problems to improve their reputation and user trust
Potential sellers and buyers please steer clear of this platform, as it is unreliable, unresponsive, Scam and ultimately a waste of time, effort and money. There are far better alternatives out there for those looking to sell or buy their gaming-related items and services.

This suggests to me they are trying to inflate the reviews on this website. DON'T DO ANY DEALINGS WITH THE STAFF ON THIS WEBSITE, THEY ARE ABUSIVE.
Unable to do anything on the website at all. Unable to confirm middleman order.
When I signed up to make an order for something I was interested in, it allowed me proceed with the order details. To confirm the order, you would have to message a bot member on the website to create a message. I am unable to do so because my account is falsely flagged as "High Risk" and I am unable to do anything. That includes making a ticket (the traditional way) and getting support. All I get is an error page.
I had to find some way to submit a ticket and was finally able to - but it was a a massive issue that if you didn't know where to look, for the people who don't know much about tech - you wouldn't know where to go.
After raising my ticket, it has been more than 3 days I have not received a response. I would understand it if it was before the order could be placed, but this permission behaviour after submitting the order is inexcusable and terrible design.

Still 1*. My account got unlocked and it shouldn't have took a review hit to get some sort of support.
My account got unlocked but I got two on-site "warnings" for two infractions against their Terms of Service (TOS) that I didn't do. One for using a VPN and another for having two different accounts. I had only signed up with this account, they accused me of using another person's account and they merged both of our accounts together... So someone's account is no more.
I had been scammed on the website but went off-site to a different communication method (Discord); didn't use their Middleman service. Don't worry - got it all sorted, but multiple times I have tried left the seller negative feedback and the staff have removed my feedback given. There is no way to provide any sort of proof and it's all hearsay. There's been no request to provide proof of this feedback, just straight up removal. This tells me that PlayerUp is pro-scam.

I've been begging for my $900 payout on PlayerUp.com since April 20th. I write to them on Discord every day. They just ignore me or promise to pay me today / tomorrow and ignore me again. He also constantly asks to delete the review and supposedly then he will be able to continue working on the payment. My patience has run out. You will also be filed a complaint with the FTC. You will pay a fine, and you are also waiting for a showdown with the police if you do not want to resolve the issue in a good way.
I warned Middleman that he would get a bad review if he didn't pay my money. After that, the intermediary immediately canceled my application for payment.

Ive used their middleman service (i wish i didnt) and have been trying to cash out my $348. It has been over a month and i still was not able to cash out my money into my bank or paypal. They tell you it takes 1 to 96 hours but thats just false. ZERO explanation to why this is happening its like theyre allergic to explanations. Ive talked to other people who went through the same situation too this is something common. Its safe to say i can easily assume this is a scam. Delay our money, no response, no explanation. The only way to get a response from them is to write a bad review to save their image. They will most likely cancel my cashout transaction and make the scam official after this review and/or ban my account and take the money. I have been messaging them almost DAILY and they dont respond. I even tried submitting a ticket through the link the company representative added in this website for urgent issues but still no response despite messaging almost daily. A simple paypal transaction can take minutes to finish not months. They can even offer another alternative if paypal no longer works with them. But they simply dont care. For us customers we can only assume this is a scam its not our fault.

I sold my account two months ago, followed all the guidelines, the buyer received all the information, changed the password of the account, and changed the order status, I did the same, but even following all the instructions, still waiting 2 months for my payment without any reply from middleman. My order status has been changed to completed by them, and they even scheduled the payment to be done after 96 hours on May 05th, informing that the transaction was officially complete, but I am still waiting for something to happen. Last time they replied to my tickets, asking me to delete all the support tickets I've opened in Reddit so they can move forward with my payment, it's been a month since I did it and nothing has happened.
I sold my account cause I really needed the money to help me with a health issue, but I had to borrow money to deal with my issue, and now I need to pay this money back. It's so frustrating to come here to beg for a thing that belongs to me and to ask you to do your work. I did my part reading everything to ensure I followed the guidelines since it was my first experience here, but I can tell you, this is the first experience I have had such a bad experience with customer service like this in my whole life. Please, all I ask is for your guys to keep your word and finish my payment. I had to ask for my family to lend me the money cause I was counting on this and now I've been waiting more than 2 months for this. I can't understand how a platform like this treats customers like trash.

UPDATE 1 - June 25, 2023
Ok, yesterday, after my posts here, they decided to show up and "answer" my messages. Actually, nothing was answered, and they just showed up saying that they suspended my order for no reason cause they needed my full and complete cooperation, asking me to delete my complaints here again. They decided to "punish" me and unfortunately, that is one more piece of evidence of the type of company we decided to trust. We probably won't get our payment, but for now on I'll will post a complaint here every single day, so I can help other people to avoid this frustrating situation. I encourage everyone that has been in the same situation to join this community, share with your friends, and ask them to comment. We need to bring visibility to this as much as possible to help other people not be scammed too. I'm also talking to my family lawyer and I'll keep you guys posted.
