Over two weeks ago I tried to buy a $10 VISA gift card, paying with Bitcoin. Once the transaction was verified I received an email titled "Verification required" in which they told me I had to send them such private and important documentation as a copy of my ID or passport, something that I had not been informed at any time during the purchase process. To make matters worse, the verification is done on an external website from which we know little or nothing, who they are or how they deal with your documentation.
As a result I sent an email to Dundle's support team because under no circumstances I will send my ID or passport for something valued at $10 to some stranger on the Internet. Were they quick to respond to me? Not at all, it took them almost five days to do so, only to insist me again that I have to verify myself if I want to complete the purchase.
I sent them another email, asking for my money back since it is a possibility they offered me when they requested my verification. This time they were "quicker" in responding to me, almost three days later they told me that they can't give me a refund because the payment method I used can't be refunded. Again, this information does not appear anywhere on the web, nor is it reported before making the payment.
My situation right now is that I don't have the gift card code or my money, I sent them a new email telling them the above, the lack of transparency or the omission of important information during the purchase process but they keep insisting on the same, the verification. And all for a $10 gift card.
Look for alternatives, there are webs/stores that are much more professional, efficient and fair to the customer than Dundle. I bought, or tried to buy here because the store I usually visit didn't have stock of what I wanted at that time, what a mistake.
I will never try to buy anything here again.
