Description
WB1 OC System replacement fittings are widely used on Mammal Boots, sizes 39-48.
If you have one of the 'original' pairs of Women's Mammal Lucia, Oribi, Squaw or Men's Sorex or Fango boots, they will probably have WB1 fittings in them.
The WB1 fitting can be differentiated from the other 'Tipper' fittings (like YB1) by the fact that they have a fixed lug which anchors into the sole, rather than a flexible lug.WB1 replacements fittings can be ordered in Green or Red. They are very quick and easy to change, if the original fittings are worn, cracked or broken. !! (Updated versions of Mammal Boots are mostly fitted with the YB2 fittings.For example if you bought a pair of Mammal Lucia boots since 2023/24, they are Lucia 2 (version 2) and will be fitted with YB2) !!

If you have a Mammal Boot bought from 2023/24 onwards, your boots may contain YB2
