Ilves (pronounced; 'eeels ) is a Swedish footwear brand shaped by Nordic winter living. Särna pairs that practical approach with the familiar convenience of OCSystem retractable ice grips. Deploy the grips when conditions call for extra traction, then fold them away for indoor use or clear ground.

Designed in Sweden, with Nordic winters in mind. Ilves brings Swedish winter experience to footwear built for cold, snowy conditions. Särna shares its name with a village in Dalarna, near the Norwegian border, where long winters and months of sub-zero temperatures make warmth and dependable grip everyday necessities.
That Scandinavian winter focus runs through the Särna boot: warming wool lining, a water-resistant TEX membrane and retractable OCSystem ice grips, brought together in rugged leather lace-up styling. Its purposeful design reflects the practical demands of winter walking, from snowy paths to icy pavements.
Ilves boots are manufactured in an EU-based, family-owned factory that has undergone a SMETA audit. The wool used in their linings is mulesing-free.
CARE, REPROOF & REPAIR
Give the leather regular care, particularly after muddy walks or contact with winter road salt. Remove surface dirt, allow the boots to dry naturally and use suitable footwear care products according to their instructions.
The Grangers Footwear Care Kit is a useful companion for cleaning and maintaining the upper's water repellency. Reproofing supports the outer finish; it does not turn a water-resistant boot into a fully waterproof one.
