Harads shares its name with a village in the forests of Swedish Lapland, beside the Lule River, just a few miles south of the Arctic Circle, where snowy winters and severe cold shape everyday life. That northern winter focus runs through the Harads boot: 100% wool lining, a water-resistant TEX membrane and retractable OCSystem ice grips, combined with clean leather styling and convenient access through an elastic side panel and inside zip. It brings Scandinavian winter practicality to a familiar style for everyday walking. Ilves boots are manufactured in an EU-based, family-owned factory that has undergone a SMETA audit, and the wool used in their linings is mulesing-free.
CARE, REPROOF & REPAIR
Give the leather regular care, particularly after muddy walks or contact with winter road salt. Remove surface dirt, allow the boots to dry naturally and use suitable footwear care products according to their instructions.
The Grangers Footwear Care Kit is a useful companion for cleaning and maintaining the upper's water repellency. Reproofing supports the outer finish; it does not turn a water-resistant boot into a fully waterproof one.
