The ELLIPAL Titan 2.0 has no online connection of any kind: no WiFi, no Bluetooth, no cellular, and no USB data path. It communicates only through QR codes shown on its own screen and scanned by its own camera, so your Private Key is never exposed to an online device.
QR code signing you can review
Every transaction is displayed in full on the 4-inch screen before you approve it. You review the details, sign inside the device, and pass only a signed QR code back to the ELLIPAL App. Nothing sensitive ever leaves the device.
Built like a vault
Your Private Key is generated and stored inside a CC EAL5+ Secure Chip, kept in a fully sealed metal body. A Self-Destruct Mechanism watches for physical tampering, and wipes the device if the body is forced open, so a stolen device does not become access to your funds.

You create and hold your own Seed Phrase and PIN during setup, and ELLIPAL never sees either. The ELLIPAL Titan 2.0 uses the standard BIP39 Seed Phrase, so your crypto stays on the blockchain and can be recovered on any BIP39-compatible wallet.

How do firmware updates work if the device is air-gapped?
Updates stay offline. You load the firmware through the microSD card and the ELLIPAL Security Adapter, so the device never connects to the internet and the air-gap is never broken.
