Trevor was the first painter in Britain (2013) to incorporate augmented reality with his work. Since 2017 his inspiration has been cryptocurrency; painting the portraits of some of the major players and concepts. He graduated with an MA Fine Art (hons) from Edinburgh College of Art in 2008 followed by 7 years as CEO of Scottish charity Art in Healthcare. He stepped down in 2015 to focus on his art career and AR company CreativTek.
Over £60,000 of paintings and prints sold at the artist’s 2018 exhibition “Crypto Disruption” with the solo show being covered in numerous publications including Bitcoin.com, Financial Times, Hackernoon, ETHNews and Coindesk. Jones’ innovative AR paintings have tripled in value since 2015 and continue to appreciate as he establishes himself as one of the most innovative and sought after artists in the crypto community.
