Shieldz is a merchant-side, non-custodial crypto payment gateway. A business supplies a public receiving key or wallet address, then uses Shieldz to create an invoice, payment link, tip jar or hosted checkout for a buyer. According to the company’s documentation, the payment is routed directly from the buyer’s wallet to the merchant’s own wallet while Shieldz monitors the transaction and returns settlement information through signed webhooks. The service says it does not custody balances and charges no platform fee; normal blockchain gas and any underlying swap-route spread can still apply.
The official site documents a hosted checkout, payment links, invoices, REST API, SDKs and webhooks, with WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads and GiveWP integrations. It also describes keyless creation of payment links and tip jars, while an optional merchant dashboard can be claimed later.
