Hi, Im Shannon!
I love designing murals for people, and enjoy the results of creating a space that reflects the personality and taste of the homeowner. I also have a ton of fun organiazing volunteer murals and painting designer visions for fine homes in the greater Bay Area.

I love designing murals for people, and enjoy the results of creating a space that reflects the personality and taste of the homeowner. I also have a ton of fun organiazing volunteer murals and painting designer visions for fine homes in the greater Bay Area.
Project Process: Send me an email or text about a project or idea for your space (you can call too). First, tell me a little about the space and maybe some ideas of what youd like to see in the room. Next, we can set up a meeting to look at the space together and talk style options. I will then send you some ideas, and you can get back to me with your preferences. I will then send you a quote based on those ideas/options.
For large scale murals, we can do a mock up, but for smaller jobs, I think its best to just go for it and not waste time on photoshop or mini paintings. We can just set a date and unless we add or change the mural, the price will not change from the orignial quote.
Pricing: Im $600/day for murals less than a week, and will go down to $500/day after a week. My minimum is $1200. I paint for 6 hrs a day, and starting around 10 am. A 50% deposit is due before the start day and the remainder on the day I complete the mural. For a large scale murals, $30/sq foot is an average calculating price, of course sometimes people want something simple, and some people want full Degourney style detail. Again, the original quote wont change unless we add or change the mural. I prefer to get paid directly by a client rather than going through the design firm.
About me: I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and attended St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California, graduating with a degree in Art. After graduation, my love of painting and desire for adventure took me on a two-year journey throughout Europe. While there, I fell in love with the historic decorative painting of Italy, Austria, and Turkey. The artist’s ability to transform surroundings through painting transformed my views on painting, and my choice to focus on it as a career.
As a result of this inspiration, Shannon and Co. Murals opened in 2000 with a focus on decorative murals and children’s rooms. My clients have included the top five decorative and mural painting companies in San Francisco, a restaurant in Livermore, a bar in Healdsburg, a fancy hotel in Yontville, six schools on the Penninsula, five hospitals around the Bay Area, and lots of amazing designers. Today, my inspiration continues to come through my world travels, and from my collaboration with clients and nonprofits. I am also dedicated to spending time with family and friends, exploring street art, and volunteering for Bread and Roses, Rooms that Rock 4 Chemo, and California Clean Money. I hope you enjoy the website.
And, dont forget to check out my VOLUNTEER MURALS on the mural up page and my decorative artwork on my etc page!
