New Mexico Tea Company, Inc. was created on January 1, 2010 with two shareholders, David Edwards and Dianne Edwards. NM Tea Co, Inc. evolved from a sole proprietorship owned by David Edwards since November of 2006 when New Mexico Tea Company first opened its doors in one of Albuquerque's oldest neighborhoods between urban downtown and historic Old Town. We occupy the central retail space in a new building on the northeast corner of Mountain Road and Twelfth Street.
Our passion and specialty is bulk loose leaf tea from around the world. Some teas we blend ourselves, some we import directly, and some we buy from other importers. Our goal is to make available a range of tea and tea products to our neighbors throughout the state of New Mexico as well as our neighbors around the world.
We Take Bitcoin Online
We accept bitcoins as a payment method on our website. You can use bitcoins just like a credit card here. Browse around and find what you would like to buy. When you get to the checkout page a bitcoin payment option will be available.
Bitpay is our processor; so when you click the "Complete With Bitpay" button you will be shown a Bitpay payment window. You can scan the QR code with your phone, or cut and paste the wallet address if you would like to send the bitcoins manually.
