LIFE IS BETTER WITH HEMP
Can you believe that for most of the 20th and 21st century (so far), drinking CBD coffee was not a legal option in the United States?

Hemp is a great plant to have around. A bright future lies ahead for this special crop. Historically, it hasn’t always been this way.

It’s been a long fight in the United States. It was banned just over 80 years ago in the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937. Growing hemp was declared illegal most likely due to the threat it posed to the paper industry.

Fast forward 8 decades to 2018, and it’s back on the scene. The 2018 Farm Bill made growing hemp legal again.

In addition to paper, it can be used as fuel (more effective than ethanol), an excellent protein (hemp seeds), and can help preserve the earth by removing carbon dioxide from the air.

Growing hemp also works magic underground. It cleans polluted soil by drawing heavy metals up through its roots and storing them in its stalk. This cleanup process takes place in just a few harvests!

Now, it is important to note that while we love the soil cleanup on a macro level, we don’t want the CBD in your coffee to come from hemp grown on less than optimal land.

That’s why we use CBD derived from organic compliant hemp.

Crazy Calm was founded by two friends who share a passion for healthy living, freedom, and coffee.
