In the beginning there was the typewriter..
What began in the 1950s as a stationery and typewriter store has developed over the years into one of the most respected furniture stores in Switzerland. Büro Wickart AG, founded in 1970, gave rise to today's Bruno Wickart AG, which was established in 1981. in 1998, the company opened its headquarters on Baarermattstrasse in Zug, which showcases a variety of furniture classics in an exhibition space of over 3000 square meters.

At the end of April 2016, industry expert Isidoro Celentano took over the company as part of an external succession plan. The workforce of employees, some of whom have been with the company for many years, and thus further important industry expertise for our customers, will be retained.

Over the years, partnerships have been established with manufacturers such as USM, Vitra, Fritz Hansen, Cassina, Minotti, Walter Knoll, ClassiCon, etc. Thanks to this cooperation, we are able to offer world-famous "originals" by various designers such as Charles & Ray Eames, Le Corbusier, Verner Panton, Eileen Gray, to name but a few, in our range.
