Bitstop is a network of Bitcoin and crypto ATMs and teller locations in North America. Founded in Miami in 2013, it now lists more than 3,000 places to buy digital assets with cash. Bitcoin is available at most machines; Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Solana, XRP, USDT, USDC and other assets are available at selected locations. Some kiosks also offer gold. At an ATM, choose an asset, enter your mobile number and PIN, scan your wallet’s receiving QR code, and insert cash. No bank account or payment card is needed. Bitstop advertises purchases starting at $10, but each machine shows its own minimum, exchange rate and transaction fee before payment. Crypto usually reaches the wallet within minutes. Bitstop ATMs currently do not support selling crypto or withdrawing cash.
Identity checks and purchase limits depend on the amount, location and verification tier. A government-issued photo ID may be required above certain thresholds. The free Bitstop app for iOS and Android helps users find machines, set up an account and view receipts; it is optional for an ATM purchase.
