Great that you've found your way to us! I warmly welcome you to our BIPLANTOL ® world! My name is Rolf Würthle and today I am the second generation to run our family business, Bioplant Naturverfahren GmbH. Here I would like to give you a little insight into the history of our company and the career of BIPLANTOL ® .



It all started in our little drugstore ...
In 1967 my parents, Sigrid and Konrad Würthle, took over the Gebhard drugstore at Gebhardsplatz in Constance on Lake Constance. As a trained pharmacist and druggist, my father specialized in medicinal herbs, naturopathy (Maria Treben, Breuss-Kur, Hildegard von Bingen) and biochemistry according to Dr. Schuessler.

Forest death and homeopathy
Then, at the beginning of the 1980s, when the widespread forest extinction became the focus of the news, my father looked for a solution to regenerate damaged and sick trees. Until then, naturopathic treatments had only been used on humans, but my father thought, "what is good for humans cannot be bad for a plant". He excluded high-dose fertilization from the outset, according to the motto:
"When we are sick, we don't fancy schnitzel, chips and salad."




The homeopathic solution worked
The first attempts were made on three to four year old spruces. Different doses were tested and gave clear results with better and longer needle growth. The effectiveness of the individual potency levels was checked by extensive wheat and cress tests. After much experimentation in the drugstore "laboratory", the complex agent "Plantiosan", which was produced on a purely biological-biochemical and homeopathic basis, was born. Based on natural medicine, we later renamed our plant homeopathic to BIPLANTOL® (organic plant solution). The raw materials form the biochemical functional agents according to Dr. Schuessler. The basis was a combination of plant extracts, minerals and trace elements in a homeopathically dynamic form, ie the potency levels range between D6 and D100.


The first field trials followed
With the help of the State Forestry Office in Constance, a first large-scale experiment with Douglas fir, sequoia and pine followed. The trees were badly damaged and weakened with symptoms of partly unknown origin and showed features that indicated complete death. In 1983, the trees were watered several times over a year with our diluted homeopathic complex BIPLANTOL ® . At the end of the experiment, it was observed that the aligned crowns were again compacting and the branches were hanging.

With the successful renovation of a sick sequoia thanks to BIPLANTOL ® in the Constance State Forest, the public's interest was finally awakened.

Further long-term studies followed in collaboration with public institutes and private users. In a selected piece of forest in Bavaria, it was possible, among other things, to prove the regenerative effectiveness of BIPLANTOL® in 60-year-old firs and spruces with the help of infrared images .
