The name “Bernardo Tesori” stands for the trade with selected Aceti Balsamici Tradizionali of different certified suppliers from Italy. The aim is to make the variety of the numerous, traditionally produced balsamic vinegars from Italy available to customers here in Germany and Austria. Many smaller vinegar producers are family businesses and have only very small quantities of their Aceti Balsamici, which have been traditionally produced for decades. So far, these fine wines have been sold either locally in Modena or Reggio Emilia or only on the domestic Italian market. The aim is to make these exclusive products a little more accessible to customers so that these excellent vinegars can also be tasted in Germany and Austria.
Not all balsamic vinegars are the same – the range of balsamic vinegars available on the market extends from 0.50 EUR / litre to over 10,000 EUR / litre! These price differences are mainly caused by the extreme differences in quality of the balsamic vinegar. The taste of a natural and additive-free Aceto Balsamico, which consists exclusively of boiled grape must and was allowed to mature for more than 12 years in various wooden barrels, is an unforgettable and intense taste experience between sweet and sour in a unique combination.
