Angel Battles first contracts launched in Jan 2018. The ERC721 standard was in its infancy, and our first contracts were not fully compatible (we used unlocks instead of approvals)

We reached the top 5 Etherum games for DAU on dappradar, but the complexity of the game was unsustainable in a high gas fee environment.

We changed the cards to be ERC721, and implemented conversion contracts for legacy cards

The game is under active development (since spring 2021) and we are testing out several rollups and other scaling solutions
