This is a pocket-sized white noise machine (some people call it a white sound machine) with six sounds, a soft night light and a sleep timer. It plays a steady background sound, so sudden noises like a barking dog, a car door or a chatty hallway don't stand out as much. It's USB-rechargeable, so it goes in a handbag, nappy bag or carry-on as easily as it sits on your bedside table.
What it does


Six sounds: rain, forest, ocean waves, relax, calm and pure white noise.

Adjustable volume with + and – buttons, so it can stay gentle if only one of you wants the sound.

Sleep timer: 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or leave it running.

Soft night light for settling a baby or getting up in the night without switching on the big light.

Rechargeable and cordless: charges by USB-C and plays for about 4 to 8 hours per charge.

Is a white sound machine the same as a white noise machine?Yes. Can it run all night?Yes. Leave the timer off and it plays continuously. On battery it lasts about 4 to 8 hours, so for a full night keep it plugged into a USB charger.
Can I use it in a baby's room?Yes, lots of parents do. Put it across the room rather than in or right beside the cot, keep the volume low, and use the timer if you don't need it all night. The soft night light is handy for late-night feeds.
