Spike's 1/2” stainless steel ball valve screws directly into their brew kettles, no need for an additional nipple to make the connection like competitors valves. This valve is dual sided with a male (which screws directly into your kettle) and a female end (which allows for a 1/2" barb or other 1/2" fitting). The 3 piece valve completely disassembles so a thorough cleaning is easy.  Specs: Made from 304 stainless steel  1/2" NPT male end screws directly into the kettle  Full port 5/8” inner diameter
