Kieselsol is a silica gel particularly effective as a fining agent for low-tannin wines, often used in conjunction with gelatin.  * Regarding the winter shipping of products containing Kieselsol: Please be aware that when Kieselsol freezes, the active ingredient crystallizes reducing effectiveness. During the colder months, we do our best to thermally insulate these items in your parcel. However, please note that we cannot replace Kieselsol products that freeze during shipping. We recommend avoiding ordering this product during periods of extreme cold.
