The iPollo V2 is a high-performance ASIC miner designed specifically for Ethereum Classic (ETC) and other Ethash/Etchash algorithm coins such as OCTA and ZIL. It boasts an impressive hashrate of 10 GH/s with a power consumption of approximately 1500 watts, making it one of the most powerful and efficient miners in its class. This translates to an energy efficiency of around 0.15 joules per megahash, which helps miners maximize profitability by balancing high output with reasonable electricity usage. Released in November 2024, the iPollo V2 is ideal for both individual miners and larger mining operations looking to scale their ETC mining capabilities.
Advanced Cooling and Operational Features
Equipped with a sophisticated quad-fan cooling system, the iPollo V2 ensures stable performance by effectively dissipating heat during extended mining sessions. This cooling solution helps prevent overheating, which can degrade performance and hardware lifespan. Despite its powerful hardware, the miner operates at a noise level of about 75 decibels, making it relatively quiet for an ASIC miner of its caliber. The device weighs approximately 16.5 kg and measures 430 x 195 x 290 mm, making it compact enough for various mining setups. It supports Ethernet connectivity and functions optimally within a temperature range of 10 to 40 °C and humidity of 10 to 90%, ensuring reliable operation in diverse environments.
Versatile Mining Capabilities and Profitability
The iPollo V2 supports mining on the Ethash and Etchash algorithms, allowing it to mine a variety of coins beyond Ethereum Classic, including OCTA and ZIL, with dual mining options available.
