You don't pay anything for the tier itself. They're designed for convenience, but I only realized this after talking to a support moderator (by the way, a real person answers, not an AI). I immediately asked the moderator to set up my NS records on Cloudflare.
About my situation: I registered a .at domain under the Titan plan for a work project; the price was fixed at $160. An employee processes these domains manually, and the domain didn't become active right away due to the nature of the domain extension. Support didn't respond immediately or quickly either; WHOIS privacy comes with the plan, so my information isn't listed anywhere, just as I wanted. I didn't like the bot - it's very complicated and hard to understand. and ... hhe pricing structure also confused me
