Bloom's Take
The Ucotech IL1000 is an incredible sounding IEM for its price. No, seriously. The vocals are natural and realistic accompanied by tuneful bass. If your preferred sound signature is natural midrange, highs that aren't piercing, and bass that is tight yet isn't over blown, these may be for you. And with a sub $200 price tag, the IL1000 is an exceptional value.
We had the best listening experience with DAPs and portable DACs like the iBasso DX170 and Questyle M15. It's also important to note that like other universal IEMs, the experience is best with properly fitted tips with a solid seal and particularly so in this case (we used SpinFit W1s.)





Ucotech, Quality from Korea
Ucotech has been around since 2007 and are known for their amazing earbuds and earphones that are made with passion in Korea. They are known to make quality products, specifically masterfully tuned earphones that are solid built with a well-thought out design.
IL1000 Design
Manufactured with a stereolithography 3D printer, the faceplate is made with a zinc alloy die-cast, making it strong and elaborate. The housing is hand-polished, precision-processed, and finished with water transfer printing and high gloss coating.
The driver makes air flow more natural, controls unnecessary flow, and realizes more natural high sound quality. It consists of a newly developed 8mm dynamic driver with IDP (Independent Dynamic in Pocket), a new chamber structure developed by Ucotech. In order to create earphones that exceed the limitations of single drivers, Ucotech developed IDPs with special chambers to compensate for shortcomings of single drivers. It reproduces highs that require detail to super highs, deep bass that is not stuffy, and solid bass.
