"MacCase didn't enter the Apple protection market. We created it in 1998 and have been refining it ever since. When you've spent nearly three decades designing protection for Apple products, patterns emerge. You learn which features actually protect devices, and which simply follow convention. Most iPad sleeves are designed around what a sleeve is supposed to look like, a closure, a zipper, a flap, features borrowed from convention rather than from how people actually use them. The result is a sleeve that slows you down every time you reach for your iPad especially in the TSA line. After all this time designing Apple protective gear, we knew what needed to go. No zipper to scratch the finish. No closure to fumble with. No fixed orientation forcing you to carry it one way. Just fast, clean access, in whatever direction works for you.
