Show more...We started a website “cheaperthansteam.com” selling PC games in 2013. At that time, we were new to bitcoin and were amazed by the concept of blockchain. Since credit cards and PayPxl are not good solutions for online merchants, we made a very important decision to turn our site to bitcoin-only.

Unlike other game keys sellers, just treating “accept bitcoin” as an extra payment method. We kept most of our bitcoins we earned from our business. While selling game keys did not made us a fortune since we were having a very little profit margin, the rise of bitcoin in 2017 did help us to make “some” money.

Because of these money we made, we want to say thank to the bitcoin & PC gaming community. This is the reason why we started everything from the ground and come up with a new site “GroupSteam”. “GroupSteam” is a new chapter of “Cheaper Than Steam”, offering more games and benefits to all crypto PC gamers. Our keys are from reliable sources, our major supplier is in the gaming industry since 2006 and is bitcoin-friendly.

We now have 800+ games in store and accepting BTC, LTC, ETH, XRP and even BTC Lightning. Unlike other stores, we will not have summer sale, winter sale, halloween sale… etc. because we are always keeping our price as low as possible. We only target at very little profit margin that can cover the cost to run this store. Our aim is to promote the use and adoption of cryptocurrencies.

From time to time, we will have special offers to our customers, e.g. “Buy 1 Get 1 FREE”, free value-added net services and cashback in terms of store credits…etc. Just stay tuned for coming surprises.
