TravelbyBit is a blockchain payment platform and travel company that offers booking services for travellers using digital assets.

We are introducing the world to digital asset tourism and pride ourselves on providing exceptional travel service and secure payments.

Our Story
As part of our travel experiences, we were wandering through Kalpitiya in Sri Lanka not long after the civil war had ended.

We wanted to extend our stay, but the accommodation provider couldn’t process credit card payments and we had run out of cash. In the end, they let us stay and told us we could pay down the track once we found a way to do so. We thought that was nice of them, but it wasn’t a reliable way to run a business.

I thought, “Who accepts digital assets? What if they could just take peer-to-peer payments over a smartphone without needing an international financial intermediary or credit card service? What if someone could carve out an entire adventure just with mobile payments without the risk of credit card fraud?”

We’ve brought this vision to life by creating TravelbyBit.
